Protect access to affordable healthcare and Medicaid. Strengthen rural healthcare and support local hospitals and providers. Improve access to mental and behavioral healthcare. Support maternal and women's healthcare. Address the shortage of healthcare professionals across Kentucky. Make prescription medications more affordable. Healthcare is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
Working full-time should mean being able to afford the basics. I will fight for: Meaningful increases to Kentucky's minimum wage. Fair wages for Kentucky workers. Workforce development and job training. Good-paying jobs that allow families to stay and build their lives here. Stronger protections for workers. Policies that help small businesses grow and remain in our communities. If you work hard in Kentucky, you should be able to live with dignity.
Our children deserve more than promises. They deserve adequately funded schools, qualified teachers, and opportunities to succeed. I will advocate for: Competitive teacher salaries. Protecting and strengthening teacher pensions. Adequate SEEK funding for our schools. Mental-health resources for students. Career and technical education. Vocational training and apprenticeships. Stronger partnerships between schools and local employers. When we invest in our children, we invest in Kentucky's future.
No Kentucky family should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. I will work to protect programs that help families put food on the table and support community-based solutions to hunger. That includes: Protecting access to SNAP and other nutrition assistance. Strengthening local food-security programs. Supporting community gardens and food initiatives. Expanding opportunities for Kentucky agriculture. Supporting children and families experiencing food insecurity. Food should never be a political weapon.
Our communities deserve investment—not to be treated as an afterthought. I will work to bring resources to District 25 and rural Kentucky for: Roads and infrastructure. Broadband access. Water and sewer improvements. Local businesses. Community development. Housing opportunities. Workforce development. Rural Kentucky deserves a seat at the table.
When a local business closes, a community loses more than a storefront. We lose jobs, services, tax revenue, and another piece of our community. I will support policies that: Help small businesses start and stay open. Encourage local purchasing. Reduce unnecessary barriers for entrepreneurs. Strengthen workforce pipelines. Invest in thriving downtowns and commercial districts. Encourage responsible economic growth. Growth should strengthen our communities—not leave them behind.
Kentucky cannot expect excellence from public servants while failing to value the people doing the work. I will advocate for: Competitive compensation. Retirement security. Safe and healthy workplaces. Adequate staffing. Respect for the professionals who keep Kentucky running.
Our seniors, veterans, and caregivers should not have to fight alone to receive the support they've earned. I will work to: Protect access to healthcare. Support aging Kentuckians who want to remain in their communities. Improve resources for caregivers. Support Kentucky's veterans. Address the affordability challenges facing seniors. We take care of the people who took care of us.
A strong Kentucky economy means little if working people cannot afford a safe place to live. I will support: More affordable housing opportunities. Responsible housing development. Programs that help first-time homeowners. Efforts to address homelessness. Policies that help working families remain in their communities.
People deserve to know how their government is spending their money and making decisions. I will push for: Greater transparency. Responsible budgeting. Accountability for taxpayer dollars. Accessible constituent services. Government that listens before it acts. The people are not the problem to be managed. They are the people to be represented.
